Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce treatment cost by omitting complicated treatment operation, by adding a powdery mixture of allophane and montmorillonite to an oil- containing liquid reduced in the concn. of an oil component to separate the formed flocculated substance. CONSTITUTION:The oil-containing liquid in a raw liquid tank 1 is treated by the element of an oil component coarse granulation apparatus 6 to convert an oil component to coarse particles and sent to a float separation tank 7. The oil component of the floated oil layer at the upper part of said tank 7 is sent to an automatic oil component discharge device 8 to be recovered as oil. The oil-containing liquid reduced in the concn. of the oil component is introduced into the reaction tank 9 of a flocculative reaction treatment apparatus B. A powdery mixture of allophane and montmorillonite (a mixing ratio of 1:1-2 on a wt. basis) and other auxiliary agent are compounded in a chemicals tank 11 and the resulting mixture is added to the reaction tank 9 to perform stirring. A supernatant liquid is drawn out from a discharge value 16 and the sedimented flocculated substance is sent to a dehydration apparatus C through a solenoid valve 17.
