INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To easily confirm a print image and to improve working efficiency by calculating the reduction ratio of document information in accordance with the size of every print paper and displaying the print image of the document information on a screen by a control means which controls the document information such as a character and a ruled line, etc. CONSTITUTION:A reduction ratio storage area in which the reduction ratio of the document information is stored is formed in a RAM 5 which comprises the control means 1. Also, a print image display processing program is stored in a ROM 4, and simultaneously, an effective length table for the size of every kind of print paper for A4 format, etc., and the information of picture size on the display screen of a display 7 are stored in it. The print image display processing program calculates the reduction ratio of the document information within the size of print paper capable of being displayed on one screen of the display 7 from the effective length of size of the print paper whose format is set and the information of picture size. A compression pattern for display is generated according to the reduction ratio, and it is displayed on one screen of the display 7 as the print image.
