Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To eliminate delay in damping force switching timing and improve steering stability by mounting an on-vehicle navigation device, and setting optimum damping force for a shock absorber in advance according to the road condition in a map. CONSTITUTION:A suspension control part 1 is provided with a steering sensor 3 which detects steering angle and a vehicle speed sensor 2, and constituted so that the damping force of a shock absorber may be switching-controlled according to the turning condition of a vehicle. The vehicle provided with the control part. 1 is provided with a navigation device 9 which calculates the current position of the vehicle through the outputted signals from an orientation sensor 9-1 which detects orientation angle and the vehicle speed sensor 2 to grasp a current position in the map, and read and display a road condition in front of the vehicle. The suspension control part 1 is constituted so as to set the optimum damping force for the shock absorber in advance according to the road condition in a map.
