PURPOSE:To easily comprise a noise erasing mechanism into a commutator by forming a layer of bonding agent containing a semiconductor ceramic having the varistor characteristic on the commutator body. CONSTITUTION:A first recessed portion 15 and a second recessed portion 15 of a commutator body 10 are coated with a bonding agent (for example, epoxy bonding agent) containing a semiconductor ceramic (for example, a mixed and baked material of alumina powder and SiTiO3 or a mixed and baked material of alumina powder and BaTiO3) to form the bonding agent layers 30, 31. Thereby, each commutator piece 20 is electrically connected and gives a noise removing function. Accordingly, a noise removing mechanism can easily be built into the commutator 20.
