Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a cruciform line defect and to substantially prevent the generation of the short circuit between a scanning signal line and a video signal line. CONSTITUTION:The video signal line DL is branched to the first branch video signal line DL1 and the second branch video signal line DL2. The first branch video signal line DL1 intersects with the scanning signal line GL. The part of the second branch video signal line DL2 existing on a gate electrode GT faces a source electrode SD1 over nearly the entire length and is a drain electrode SD2.
