PURPOSE:To improve a maintenance characteristic, to easily uniformalize a coating distribution, coating thickness, etc., and to improve yield by disposing an extrusion base, a coater, squeegees and dryers between supply and take-up reels and uniformly applying a melt by means for adjusting the spacings between the coater and the squeegees, thereby coating continuously a body to be coated with the melt. CONSTITUTION:The extrusion base 3 for stagnating the liquid is provided between the supply reel 14 and take-up reel 15 constituted by winding the body 1 to be coated thereon in the method of continuously coating both surfaces of the body 1 to be coated with the melt and coating liquid, etc. The coater which develops the melt by winding metallic wires on an upper coater shaft 5 and a lower coater shaft 6, the upper squeegee 8 and lower squeegee 9 which form the melt to uniform films and the upper dryer 12 and lower dryer 13 which solidify the melt are disposed on both surfaces of the body 1 to be coated successively from the side near the supply reel 14. Both surfaces of the body 1 to be coated are uniformly and continuously coated with the melt by means for adjusting the spacings between the coater and the squeegees 8, 9.
