Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable the reduction of NOx during a combustion process while a denitrization efficiency is being kept high to be attained by a method wherein a reducing agent is dispersed and atomized in such a manner that a specified injection area ranging from an upright position in a fluidized bed sand layer to a position just below a secondary air blowing part may be retained. CONSTITUTION:A side wall of furnace at a proper location within an injection effective range A extending from an upright position of a sand layer part 2 to a position just below a secondary air blowing port 5 is provided with two injection nozzles 6 comprised of two-fluid nozzles while they sealingly pass through the side wall in opposed arrangement in a direction of diameter of the furnace body. In the case that the reducing agent is dispersed and injected from the injection port while being oppositely faced, a dispersion angle is properly set and arranged so as to cause the injection area to occupy more than 50% of the cross sectional area of the free-board part 3. With such an arrangement, it becomes possible to restrict an increasing of CO while a denitrization efficiency is being improved.
