Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a metal traveler for spinning machine exhibiting excellent wear resistance under a high-speed spinning condition, having a long life, maintaining stable operation by molding titanium alloy wire containing Al and V, having a special specific gravity in a fixed range into a given traveler circle. CONSTITUTION:Ti-V-Al-based titanium alloy wire comprising 3.0-7.0% Al, 15-30% V and the rest of titanium and impurities, having 5.0 specific gravity is subjected to calender processing into wire of semicircular sectional shape, further molded by a molding machine into a traveler circle shape 1 of low center of gravity type, a semicircular sectional shape 2, etc., and made into >=600Hv hardness by heat treatment to give the objective traveler having small reduction in strength caused by increase in wire diameter.
