CONSTITUTION:In the strip passing roll 1 arranged in the space for changing over to liquid pouring state and gas atmospheric state according to the metal strip treating condition, a segment seal 4 is arranged to the furnace shell penetrating seal part of the roll shaft 100 in this strip passing roll 1 so as to obtain the sure sealing in the furnace shell penetrating part even not only in the liquid, but also in protecting gas in the furnace.
