Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve the service life of a lining refractory by dividing material of the lining refractory into the upper part and the lower part to the height direction of side wall and arranging the material of the lining refractory at the lower part having larger residual expansion than the lining refractory at the upper part. CONSTITUTION:The maternal of the lower part bricks 2 having larger coefficient of residual heat expansion than the upper part bricks 1 are arranged and both bricks are brought into contact with molten iron 6 and slag 7. The brick is made to an unburnt brick dried at the prescribed temp. after forming. The material of the lower part brick blends alumina and magnesia, and by utilizing the residual expansion at the time of generating spinels by reaction between both, the coefficient of residual expansion is made to be large. In this way, opening of the joint part in the lining refractory or the development of crack are reduced, and the service life is drastically improved. As molten iron has lower m.p. and viscosity than molten steel, the molten iron is easily invaded into the opening of the joint part and the crack. Therefore, this lining structure is particularly effective in the one for molten iron pre-treating vessel of a molten iron ladle, etc. |
