METHOD FOR DECIDING DRAFT SCHEDULE OF ROLLED STOCK

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a heat scratch in a cold rolling time by finding not only a calculation on the static continuous rolling theory for cold rolling but a variable value to fix lubricity at each stand. CONSTITUTION:Not only a conventional calculation based on the static continuous rolling theory of cold rolling but also roll diameter, the roll speed, the rolling load, the draft, the concentration, grain diameters, lubricity being a function of saponification value are calculated by each stand, each variable value which fixes the lubricity at each stand nearly is found and a draft schedule is determined by that value. Consequently, only the stand in time of cold rolling is free from deficiency of lubrication and generation of heat scratch can be prevented.
