Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a stable applying device of high precision, by which mechanical errors are corrected. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge 1 filled with an adhesive 11, means 6, 7 for holding the cartridge 1 to drive it in the X and Y directions and in the theta direction to a substrate 4, a recognizing camera 3 for detecting the position and form of application and a calculating part for controlling the position of an applying nozzle 2 in the X, Y and theta directions from the detected result are provided. When the cartridge 1 is replaced, attached or detached because of running out of material, etc., the applying position by the applying nozzle 2 is detected to correct the dislocation of the X, Y and theta.
