FLOOR WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To greatly reduce possible drop of the working efficiency due to an obstacle by energizing a solenoid for lifting the suction port for floor, and at the same time, putting off a vacuum cleaner automatically. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a floor is washed while a changeover switch 24 is turned to the cleaner 10 side. If any obstacle exists on the floor and the suction port 14 for floor must get over it, the switch 24 is turned to the solenoid 18 side. The cleaner 10 is put off and the sucking force of the suction port 14 goes not, and at the same time, the solenoid 18 is enegized to lift the suction port 14 from the floor with the aid of a wire 16 and a shut 20. After the obstacle is strided over, the switch 24 is turnd again to the cleaner 10 side. The solenoid 18 is deenergized, and the suction port 14 sinks by its own weight onto the floor surface, and the cleaner 10 is put on to resume the washing operation.
