WIDTH-VARIABLE ROLL TYPE ROLLER STRAIGHTENING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a roller straightening device which can change the width of a width-variable straightening roll without changing the roll easily and steplessly, reduce a roll-changing work, enlarge productivity and prevent equipment from increasing. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical pressing cylinders 7 having inner and outer diameters equal to those of a spacer 2 are mounted on both sides of a movable work roll 4 so that this movable work roll 4 is held between both the cylinders 7. The stroke of these two pressing cylinders 7 is controlled to change by a controlling part 8, a movable work roll 4 is moved, an interval between the movable work roll 4 and the fixing work roll 5, that is the roll width of the width variable roll 6 is made so that it can be adjusted steplessly.
