METHOD FOR CHANGING UPPER AND LOWER POSITION OF FERMENTABLE MATERIAL IN FERMENTATION TANK AND CHANGING DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To change vertical position of a fermentable material without accompanying heavy labor by providing a device for vertically operating an vertical shaft for turning having a helical wing structure. CONSTITUTION:A car 3 is put on a rail 2 laid outside of both the side wall faces of a fermentation tank 1 and the car 3 is connected through a wheel shaft 5 of the car 3 to the lower end part of a leg body 4, and a beam member 6 arranged in a space between upper end parts of the leg body 4 over the tank 1 in lateral direction and a beam member 7 arranged between the upper ends of the leg body 4 and connected through a wheel shaft 5' of a car 3' in longitudinal direction of the tank 1 are fixed to form a rail structure. Then the lower part of a base frame 9 for supporting a vertical shaft 8 for turning put thereon is formed so as to reciprocate in the direction of width. An electric motor 12 is connected, through a pinion 11 for speed reduction, to a rack 10 at an upper end part of the vertical shaft 8 provided in upper part of the base frame 9 to fix the motor 12 to the base frame 9. An electric motor 13 is operated while regarding stop signal of the motor 12 as starting signal and power is transferred to the cars 3 and 3' by a chain.
