Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the viscosity characteristics, fluidity at low temperature, and shear stability of an air composition which is supplied for the lubrication, gas seal, etc., of a sliding part of a refrigerating compressor. CONSTITUTION:An oil-soluble copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 50-74wt.% alkyl methacrylate and 26-44wt.% styrene is incorporated in an amount of 1-10wt.% into a base oil comprising, e.g. a naphthenic mineral oil or a synthetic alkylbenzene, ester or polyether oil.
