Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To keep both vertical relative displacement between a floating body and a long object and a suspension force at values within proper ranges. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 7 serving as a long object support mechanism is installed on a floating body 1. A long object 5 suspended in a vertical state from the floating body 1 is supported to the cylinder 7 through a rope 6. Through unwinding and winding of the rope 6 through the expansion and contraction motion of the cylinder 7, the long object 5 is vertically displaced. An air tank 14 is connected to the cylinder 7 through an oil pressure generating device 10 serving as a spring mechanism, and a reaction force is generated during vertical displacement of the long object 5. Further, a cylinder 16 for generating a positive control force is connected to the oil pressure generating device 10, and a force proportional to the vertical mov't speed of the long object 5 is positively generated and added to the reaction force of the cylinder 7.
