Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent heat generation and damage due to radiation of a superconducting material by arranging element of lithium or material including lithium in such a manner as surrounding at least a region of superconducting material to be exposed to neutron. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting coil formed by winding and bundling a plurality of lines of superconducting material 1 is arranged and supported in plural numbers in a bobbin. In both sides of a train of this superconducting coils, insulating materials 3 are stacked and a heat shielding material 5 is arranged within the region to be exposed to the neutron of insulating materials 3. The further outside of this heat shielding material 5 is provided with a material layer 6 including lithium. With this material layer 6, the neutron acts for n, alphareaction to reduce neutron. Moreover, the material layer 6 does not generate the secondary gamma rays. Thereby, heat generation by radiation of superconducting coil can be prevented and damage of superconducting coil due to neutron can also be prevented.
