Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method of a foam insulated wire, in which a reinforcing layer can be extrusion-molded so as to be fitted neatly and which has a less outer diameter variation width, even when the layer has scuffing projections or parts, in which bubbles are ruptured, on the surface of a foamed insulated layer. CONSTITUTION:A core 6, in which a foamed insulated layer 2 is formed on a conductor 1, is drawn and passed through a die 7 to smooth the surface 2a of the foamed insulated layer, and a reinforcing layer is formed by extruding on the pre-treated foamed insulated layer.
