CIRCUIT ELEMENT CONNECTION RETRIEVING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To decrease the man-hour for analysing of a circuit diagram following a connection between circuit elements by instructing the arbitrary input pin of the circuit element, operating a backward trace from the input pin to the direction of an output pin at the prestep of the circuit, and extracting entire connecting paths reaching to an outside terminal or a flip flop. CONSTITUTION:This mechanism is constituted of an inputting and outputting device 1, arithmetic processor 2, data storage device 3, and circuit element connection retrieving mechanism 4, and the circuit element connection retrieving mechanism 4 is constituted of a connecting path extracting part 5 and a circuit diagram display part 6. The arbitrary input pin of the circuit element is instructed, the backward trace is operated from the input pin to the output pin at the prestep of the circuit, and the entire connecting paths reaching the outside terminal or the flip flop are extracted, by the connecting path extracting part 5. Then, the extracted connection paths are successively displayed at the outputting device by emphasizing the circuit element and a signal line by the circuit diagram display part 6.
