ROLLER MILL AND ITS OPERATION

PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of a roll mill especially at the time of low load. CONSTITUTION:A roller mill is equipped with a roller bracket 5 supporting a plurality of grinding rollers 7 arranged on the grinding table 9 rotating in the horizontal plane at the lower part within a mill housing 10 at a predetermined interval, the pressure frame 26 pressing the roller bracket and the grinding rollers through the roller pivot 4 provided on the roller bracket 5, a tension rod 12 applying downward force to the pressure frame and a pressure device. A heavy wt. 36 and the deforming element 37 supporting the motion of the wt. in a vertical direction are attached to the pressure frame or the tension rod and the deforming element has an elastic characteristic and an energy absorbing characteristic, and controls both characteristics corresponding to the vibration frequency of a mill or the grinding characteristic of an object to be ground.
