CONSTITUTION:The org. halogen compd. and substitution type cyclodextrin in which the hydrogen of at least one hydroxyl groups of the cyclodextrin is substd. with a specific substituent, such as glucosyl group or maltosyl group, are brought into contact with each other, by which a complex clathrating the org. halogen compd. with the substitution type cyclodextrin is formed. The org. halogen compd. is then desorbed from the clathrate complex and is recovered.
