Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce the heat load of a frictional engaging device, by conducting a shift operation according to a fail shift pattern setting a shift point at a low position in the subsequent shift operation after the occurrence of any shift abnormality. CONSTITUTION:When engine output control is not effected because of any reasons, a shift time t is increased since an operating hydraulic pressure of a frictional engaging device is low with respect to a load torque of the frictional engaging device. Therefore, the abnormality is detected according to the length of the shift time t, and even when a shift pattern setting a shift point at a high position has been selected by a pattern select switch 17, this pattern is forcibly changed to a shift pattern setting the shift point at a low position. Accordingly, as the shift operation is effected in an area where an engine inertia torque is small, the heat load of the frictional engaging device may be reduced, thereby improving the durability of the frictional engaging device. |
