Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enable mutual check of torque down through request and permission response respectively at speed changing and steady driving which is advantageous in cost and does not deteriorate reliability in an engine torque control device for torque down at speed changing and steady driving. CONSTITUTION:For a signal line connecting ECU 1 (computer for engine control) to ATCU 2 (computer for automatic transmission control), two lines of a first signal line 3 and a second signal line 4 are used by executing a torque down request from the side of an automatic transmission and a torque down permission response from the side of an engine through serial transmission/reception.
