PURPOSE:To enhance flip-flop properties by forming a colored layer into two layers of both an upper layer having thin film thickness in the surface side and a lower layer having thick thickness in the rear side and also incorporating a flaky brightening agent into at least the upper layer in a transfer film constituted by laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a colored layer and a clear layer. CONSTITUTION:A transfer film is formed by equipping a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 1, a colored layer 2 provided in the surface side from the layer 1 and a clear layer 3 provided in the surface side from the layer 2. The colored layer 2 is formed into two layers of an upper layer 2a having thin film thickness in the surface side and a lower layer 2b having thick film thickness in the rear side. Moreover a flaky brightening agent 4 (i.e., Al powder) is incorporated into at least the upper layer 2a. The brightening agent 4 is orientated so that the flat face thereof is made parallel to the surface of the layer within the upper layer 2a having thin film thickness. Further even when the upper layer 2a of the colored layer 2 is thinly formed in such a way, masking properties are secured by the lower layer 2b having thick film thickness. As a result, flip-flop properties are enhanced wherein the transfer film is made glittery and black in the direction of observation.
