Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance the magnetic field orientation property and to make density uniform by a method wherein, when rare earth-iron-nitride magnetic powder compound is molded, a magnetic field is applied before a main molding operation is conducted after the compound has been filled in a mold, and a compression-molding operation is conducted while a magnetic field is being applied. CONSTITUTION:When a rare earth-iron-nitride magnetic powder compound is compression molded, the compound is filled in a mold of cylindrical, tile-like, cubical or rectangular parallellopiped shape, 800A is applied in plus direction of an electromagnet in a nonpressurized state, and then 80A is applied to minus direction of the electromagnet. Subsequently, pressure of 2ton/cm is applied in the state wherein 800A is applied in the plus direction of the electromagnet. 80A is applied in the minus direction of the electromagnet under a pressurized state. Further, pressure of 2 ton/cm is applied in the state wherein 800A is applied in the plus direction of the electromagnet, making 4ton/cm in total, and 800A is applied in minus direction of the electromagnet when pressurized. The above-mentioned process is repeated five times, and pressure is applied as high as 10ton/cm finally. As a result, the density when molded can be made uniform.
