PURPOSE:To attain the memory function by employing an EEPROM for part of a memory section being a component of this drive controller in place of a RAM having been used for a conventional controller. CONSTITUTION:A memory area of an EEPROM2 (nonvolatile memory) is divided into 6 blocks and they have respective rolls. Moreover, a RAM 3 (volatile memory) is used for a counter of a feedback pulse 42 from an actuator 41 and a memory for the data. A CPU 1 makes reading/writing with each of the memories and controls a motor drive control section 46 to set an antenna to a prescribed azimuth. On the other hand, when a power supply (B2) is turned off, since data stored in the RAM 3 are lost, data before loss are restored from the data stored in the EEPR0M2.
