Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce omission of transfer and dropout even when a slave tape with intruded suspended dust and dust generated at the time of surface treatment is used. CONSTITUTION:The Young's modulus of the magnetic layer 22 of a mirror mother tape 11 is regulated to 700-1,100kg/mm and that of the magnetic layer of a slave tape 12 is regulated to 900-1,100kg/mm to obtain a magnetic recording medium for magnetic transfer. Since high packing is attained, even when the slave tape has high hardness of the coating film, omission of transfer and dropout periodically caused on a transfer drum 4 can be reduced.
