PURPOSE:To facilitate the identification of an active window at a picture on which plural windows are displayed by blinking the part of the active window displayed on the screen of the display device. CONSTITUTION:At a comparator inside a position comparing part 3, the coordinate value of a present scanning position and the coordinate value of the active window are compared, the compared result is logically processed at a NAND circuit and an OR circuit, and during a period in which a prescribed condition is satisfied, that is, only during the period in which the part except the active window within the picture region of a display device 10 is scanned, a display control signal 7 which is logical '1' is generated. And, a display control part 4 outputs a display signal 8 blinking during the period in which the display control signal 7 is logical '1'. Thus, at the picture of the display device 10, the region of the active window is displayed blinking and the other part is displayed in a normal state.
