PURPOSE:To provide a delicate embroidery full of change by forming a fine line from yarn containing low-melting fiber in fabric or the peripheral part of a cut out applique material. CONSTITUTION:A fine line is formed along a peripheral part which is cut out to the same size as or a slightly smaller size than that of a cut out applique material or the material and a fabric to which the applique material is attached by using yarn of low-melting fiber such as a polyamide-based, vinyl chloride- based, vinyl acetate-based or polyester-based yarn or the fiber and twisted yarn such as silk, cotton or rayon. The resultant fine line is then heat-treated to fuse the low-melting fiber. An embroidery sewing with a small amplitude is subsequently carried out along the periphery of the material and the formed embroidery is sewed on the fabric or many fine lines are formed on the surface of a fabric to be embroidered by using the yarn and the amplitude is subsequently increased to carry out embroidery sewing. The surface is heat-treated to bond the embroidery yarn to the fabric.
