Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the new branch-cleaving active enzyme, the method for producing the enzyme, the microorganism for producing the enzyme and the method for producing various saccharide solutions with the enzyme. CONSTITUTION:New Bacillus.SP APC-9603 is separated from soil, and the microorganism is cultured to produce the new branch-cleaving enzyme having good heat resistance, the optimal pH on the acidic side and further wide substrate specificity. The enzyme is used to produce glucose and maltose.
