Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the quality of a regenerative color video signal by setting the frequency of a high frequency bias signal so that the video signal can not be affected by an interfering signal. CONSTITUTION:A digital sound signal and an FM sound signal are wound up along an angle range of more than 180 degrees around a rotary cylinder, and high frequency-bias recorded in the deep layer part of a traveling magnetic tape 43, by sound rotary heads 41a and 41b, so that a sound track can be prepared. Then, a video signal is recorded in the magnetic layer surface part at the upper part of the pertinent track by video rotary heads 28a and 28b, so that a video track can be prepared.
