PURPOSE:To easily analyze a change error by providing a rod which is fed with a weak current and presses paper moneys in a drawer, a register main body which detects a signal due to a difference in generated voltage, and logic which detects the error of change. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 101 is a device for inputting the price of an article that a customer purchases or the amount of money received from the customer, and the drawer (money box) 102 is a device where change preparatory money and sales money are stored. The rod 104 which presses the paper moneys in the drawer 103 is fed with the weak current which does not affect the human body and when a shop assistant touches the rod 104, the signal generated owing to the difference in voltage is sent to the register main body 100. The place where the sent signal is received differs with the storage place of bills at the register main body 100, so it can be judged which rod 104 the sales assistant touches. Then the change error can be specified and analyzed by referring to the output of a change alarm.
