PURPOSE: To obtain a material which shows improved color separation and improved stability to darkness and light after exposure and processing. CONSTITUTION: This color photographic silver halide material has on a substrate, at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. at least one yellow coupler, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. at least one magenta coupler, at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. at least one cyan coupler and intermediate layers each of which is interposed between adjacent two of these photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers having different spectral sensitivities from each other, wherein one of the intermediate layers, that is interposed between the redsensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, contains at least one EOP acceptor in a 0.06 to 0.6mmol/m total amount and also contains at least one white coupler in a 0.01 to 0.08mmol/m total amount.
