Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To protect a three-phase converter from a lightning surge by connecting a bypass capacitor between positive and negative poles of the three- phase converter. CONSTITUTION:When high surge voltage is applied between a power supply and the ground, in the case of an elevator in running, a charge current is allowed to flow in a stray capacity between fuse free breaker FFB-3-phase converter COV-main contact 10T1 of running contactor-smoothing capacitor FiL.C- main circuit-ground. Accordingly, both end voltage of the 3-phase converter COV is prevented from rising. In the case of the elevator in stopping, a charge current is allowed to flow in a stray capacity between fuse free breaker FFB-3- phase converter COV-bypass capacitor C-main circuit-ground. Accordingly, both end voltage of the 3-phase converter COV is prevented from increasing. In this way, the 3-phase converter COV can be protected from a lightning surge.
