PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency, and improve the work environment by carrying out a miniature rack for storing plural articles as a unit, and picking the articles one by one to a carrying in/carrying out conveyor by using a crane. CONSTITUTION:A miniature rack 1 stored in a rack 3 is carried out to a carrying in/carrying out conveyor 5 by a stacker crane 4. It is then placed on a carrying in/carrying out carriage 7 to travel on a circulation traveling passage 6 to be transported to a position of a transport conveyor 8 disposed at a picking position, transported to a position just above an orthogonal shifter 10 for levelling, and then transferred onto chains of a conveyor 11 having a rotary table. By operating a crane device 9, a target corrugated fiberboard box 2 is picked from the miniature rack 1 positioned on the chains of the conveyor 11 having the rotary table.
