PURPOSE:To minimize the effect of external noise by reducing waste of power consumption and preventing reception of external noise with a simple operation that a rod member is pushed into a VTR main body when a remote controller is not in use. CONSTITUTION:A light guide member 60 is projected from or inserted to a VTR main body 11 in an accommodated way in a remote control light receiving unit 12, and when the remote control light receiving unit 12 is projected, a light signal from a remote controller is detected by a light receiving sensor 20 to establish a VTR feeding circuit and when the remote control light receiving unit 12 is contained in the VTR main body 11, the said VTR feeding circuit is interrupted. Moreover, a heart cam is provided to a lower end of the light guide member 60 and the said heart cam and the light guide member 60 are in cooperation to make a reciprocating motion thereby allowing the remote control light receiving unit 12 to be projected from or contained into the VTR main body.
