PURPOSE:To avoid the interruption of speech due to a disturbed radio wave by automatically holding a telephone line during communication in response to a detection output of a means, detecting the radio wave of a prescribed level or over with a prescribed frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 5 in a master set 1 receives a disturbance radio wave whose level is a prescribed level or over with a prescribed frequency through a radio reception section 28 during trunk line talking of a slave set 30 via a telephone line L, a CPU 5 sets the line L to be in a holding state. Through the constitution above, interruption of speech due to malfunction of the radio reception section 28 is avoided when a disturbance radio wave with large power is received during trunk line talking of the slave set 30.
