PURPOSE:To provide an electrode coating device, to be used for a chip component, with which the film thickness of an electrode paste can be adjusted in a highly precise and excellently reproducible manner. CONSTITUTION:A recovery blade 22, to be used to gather the electrode paste on the bottom face of a dipping vessel 7 to one side of the dipping vessel, and a levelling blade 23 with which film thickness is adjusted uniformly while the electrode paste gathered to one end side is being levelled to the other side of the dipping vessel, are provided. The recovery blade 22 and levelling blade 23 are supported by a blade supporting frame body 21, and the blade supporting frame body 31 moves reciprocatory in horizontal direction against the dipping vessel. The recovery blade 22 is moved vertically by a cylinder 25, and the height of the levelling blade 23 is finely adjusted by the motor 31 used for levelling adjustment.
