Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve a sanitary managing function and to prevent a reader/ writer unit from being dropped in its reliability by positively executing cleaning corresponding to the quantity of dirt on a card. CONSTITUTION:Cartridge 11, 13 each of which stores plural cards 9 are respectively attachably/detachably set up on a card hopper driving unit 3 and a card stacker driving unit 5. A card carrying unit for carrying a card 9 is arranged between both the units 3, 5. A cleaning unit 7 including a cleaning roller 53 is arranged on the center of the unit 1. The unit 7 is also allowed to be attachably/detchably fixed to the unit 1 and a cleaning pack for leading a cleaning solvent to the roller 53 is allowed to be attachably/detachably fixed to the unit 7.
