PURPOSE:To provide a form control method which can freely carry out the jobs regardless of the type of the form (business form) set at an output device in a business form system. CONSTITUTION:A system service receives a form setting instruction from an application program (S11) and decides the output destination of an application (S2). Then the replacement of forms is requested to an operator when a printer of a low function is used (S3). Meanwhile a form setting request is issued with a printer of a high function (S6). Then the service is stored as it is in a spooler when a spooling system is applied (S8). Thus the spooling system issues the service for replacement of forms in place of the application program (S10).
