PURPOSE:To improve the boarding and alighting performance by fixing a U-shaped reinforcement under the connecting area of a front floor side member and a cab back cross member, welding the side plates thereof to a side sill inner panel, and fixing another reinforcement to the lower surface of a connecting plate to prevent deformation of the connecting area. CONSTITUTION:A stepped part 3a of the rear end of a front floor side member 3 is put under a cab back cross member 4 to be welded thereto, and a U-shaped reinforcement 5 is fitted under the members to reinforce them. Further, side plate parts 5b, 5b are extended in the longitudinal direction on both sides of the reinforcement 5. A side sill inner panel 7 is welded to the side plate parts 5b, 5b. Further, a reinforcement 6 having a crank-like section is fitted to the lower surface of a connecting plate part 5a of the reinforcement 5, and the side plate part 6a thereof is welded together with the reinforcement 5 to both members 3, 4.
