Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide the tracking control method controlling the tracking data at each facility, omitting a host computer, capable of responding to the short cycle time, and capable of performing a re-start with a simple action after a production line is stopped in an emergency. CONSTITUTION:The tracking data of a carried-in work W are controlled by a controller PLC of each machining facility connected by a network N, carry-out/carry-in requests are outputted to a preceding machining facility 1 and a succeeding machining facility 3, and the tracking data of the work W automatically carried in by the message communication of the network N are transferred after such state is detected that the work W can be carried out from the preceding machining facility 1 and the work can be carried out to the succeeding machining facility 3. Adjacent machining facilities are conveyance-operated synchronously with the asynchronous operation action carrying out the work W to the succeeding machining facility 3.
