CONSTITUTION:The upper edge part of a container 4 is always held at a position being a little lower than the liq. face of a water tank 3 based on a detecting signal of a liq. face sensor 7. Then, a coating scum 1 and water 2 collected in the container 4 are sucked up in a coating scum remaining tank 14 of a separating apparatus 18 by means of action of a vacuum pump 13 and only the water 2 is sucked into a water recovering vacuum tank 15 through a filter 16 and the coating scum 1 is left in the coating scum remaining tank 14 and the coating scum 1 in the coating scum remaining tank 14 is carried out by means of a carrying out device 25 for recovering.
