Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To freely set the overflow time of the watchdog timer device by software by loading the values of respective registers in a counter at need. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a counter device which can be loaded and the registers 5, 13 stored with the overflow times of a 1st and a 2nd stage; and the values of the registers 5, 13 are loaded in the counter. This counter device 8 can sends an overflow signal 11 when a loaded value is a specific numeral (e.g. 0) to places the watchdog timer device in a stop state at the time of IPL when a diagnosis is taken.
