NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE DIAGNOSING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To set a phase difference of a high frequency signal accurately to 90 deg. by connecting a phase corrector to either a first coil or a second coil of a quadrature coil to correct a phase depending on the length of a cable or the like. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is equipped with a quadrature coil 10, a columnar phantom 12 holding a nickel chloride aqueous solution, a phase corrector 14, a phase coupler 16 and an amplifier 18. The phase corrector 14 houses several coaxial cables 14c with different lengths and the length of the cables can be varied between the coil 10 and the phase coupler 16 depending on a coaxial relay 14a. The coaxial cable 14c is made removal from the relay 14a. In the selection of the cable length, a selection signal is transmitted through a control cable 14e from a control section so that a symmetrical pattern of an image to be projected on a monitor can be obtained to determine a monitor image. This operation is repeated on a trial and error basis to determine the cable length when the symmetry of the pattern is obtained.
