WATER-PROOFING PROCESS FOR ELECTRIC WIRE CONNECTION PART

PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient water-proofing function by winding heat- shrinkable film and a sheet of heat-softening material on a conductor connection part of wire with the heat-softening material on the inner side, applying a pressure winding around it, and heating an obtained matter to shrink the heat- shrinkable film while fusing the heat-softening material. CONSTITUTION:A heat-shrinkable film A having a sheet of heat-softening material 22 is wound on a conductor connection part, with the material 22 on the inner side. A lateral size L of the material 22 is set to be longer than a length 1 of a wire peeled part of the connection part, so the peeled part is enclosed with the material 22 completely. The vertical size H1 of the heat-shrinking film 21 and the vertical size H2 of the material 22 equal material 22 wound more than one turn, and the film 21 is wound more than the wound quantity of the material 22. A pressure winding tape B which is not fused at a film 21 shrinking temperature is then wound on the film A for a range exceeding the peeled part except for both end parts, and a part of the film 21 having no material 22 is heated sooner than the part having it when it is heated with hot air or the like, so the material 22 is filled in parts a1, a2.
