COAXIAL CONNECTOR INSERTION DEPTH REGULATING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To keep a necessary gap between a coaxial connector and a receptacle and at the same time make the height of the coaxial connector installation the same by installing a part which regulates the insertion depth of coaxial connectors in the outer circumferential face of the housing composing a coaxial connector. CONSTITUTION:A coaxial connector 1 is composed of a housing 3, a center socket 22, and an insulating bushing 23, connected with the terminal part of a coaxial cable 10, and inserted and held in the receptacle 2. An insertion regulating part 4 is formed in the outer circumferential face of the end part in the insertion side of the housing 3 wherein the part is like a plate and extended toward the diameter direction at right angles to the insertion direction. Consequently, when the connector 1 is inserted in the receptacle 2, the part 4 comes to touch mechanically the external end face 2a in the insertion side of the receptacle and thus further insertion of the connector 1 is hindered. The regualting part may be formed in the receptacle 2 side instead of the part 4.
