ACTUATION SYSTEM OF ON-LINE TERMINAL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make a structure test of a new system efficient, speedy, and reliable and make the operation flexible by automatically selecting and actuating only a job corresponding to an indication from a host. CONSTITUTION:A job start program is loaded in an area fixedly first and actuated and then a main program reads a table file ion and takes a job set in initial startup information, and actuates it, so that an on-line program A is actuated. Then, when there is the start message for a job B from the host 1, the on-line program A checks the ID and gives the information to the job start program through an OS since the ID is discrepant. The jog start program receives the information and searches the table file for the job B having the matching ID, thereby starting the job. Then, the start job B message is expected from the host 1 again and the process is started. An optional on-line program can automatically be switched, selected, and started from the host 1.
