PAPER FEED TRAY

PURPOSE:To house an auxiliary tray compactly folded from a main tray by making a member to interlockingly move the auxiliary tray stretching from the main tray to a circular arc shape rack. CONSTITUTION:A circular arc shape rack 51 is slidably secured along a main tray 11, and the gear 52 of the internal peripheral section is meshed with a pinion 41. The interlocking pin 55 projected from one end of the arc-like rack 51 is slidably fitted to the interlocking groove (guide groove) 25 formed in an auxiliary tray 21. When one of a pair of paper controlling plates 31 is moved to the position matching the width of the paper sheet to be supplied, other racks 35 and the circular arc shape rack 51 are interlockingly moved through the pinion 41 rotated by the rack 35 integrally moving. For example, one of the paper width controlling plate 31 is moved outside so as to match the width of an A4 sized paper sheet 61, other paper width controlling plate 31 is also moved outside, and the auxiliary tray 21 is also moved in the extending direction.
